Why Highland Beef?

Pasture-raised Highland cattle produce very high quality, healthy beef that is:

Higher than other breeds of beef in protein, iron, omega-3, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), vitamin A and E;
Lower than other breeds of beef in cholesterol, overall fat, and omega 6
An excellent source of zinc, phosphorous, selenium, B12, B3, and B6

All while maintaining excellent marbling, tenderness and flavour!

All of our beef is born and raised on pasture, and provided quality hay and silage on pasture during the winter. Liquid molasses mineral and protein supplement is available free-choice year-round to maintain healthy daily nutrition and condition.

Our beef is normally grain-finished with local certified organic grain. However, we do accept early reservations for grass-finished beef for minimum orders of one side. As long as the order is reserved ahead of the start of the finishing period, we can ensure your beef receives a grass-fed finish.
